INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gram lean beef mince
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 grain bread roll
  • 1⁄2 sliced onion
  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 2 slices of beetroot
  • 2 sliced mushrooms
  • balsamic vinegar
  • Lemon juice
  • 1⁄4 cup breadcrumbs
  • herbs and spices to taste

Preparation

  • Combine beef mince, egg white, bread crumbs and herbs and spices to taste.
  • Form into a patty and cook in a non-stick pan lightly sprayed with olive oil spray.
  • Gently cook onions and mushrooms in balsamic vinegar and lemon juice until caramelised.
  • Serve cooked patty on bread roll spread with a little sauce of your choice,
  • Top with the onions, mushrooms, cucumber, tomato, lettuce and beetroot
